This enchanting and very picturesque traditional riad is ideally located in the busy Azbezt district, tucked away in the oldest part of the medina dating back to the 11th century. It is a ten-minute stroll from the famous Jemaa el Fna square, where guests will find restaurants and shops, and 800 metres from the iconic Koutoubia. Bars and nightlife spots in Gueliz are approximately 3 km from the guesthouse, as is Marrakech train station. Oukaimeden ski area is around 80 km away and Menara Airport is roughly 7 km.The delightful hotel comprises 4 bedrooms, all with tadelakt bathrooms. The rooms open onto a pretty little patio with a traditional wall-mounted fountain strewn with fresh rose petals. It was home to several generations of the same family until 2000, and is part of a group of dwellings built in the heart of the Old City in 1881. It offers a small lobby with 24-hour reception, a 40 m patio with palm and lemon trees on the ground floor, a beautiful Moroccan-style lounge in a colonnaded gallery, a library, restaurant and a lavatory on the first floor.
